That’s why we have made it part of our mission to support Raising Readers, Hachette’s urgent and long-term campaign to highlight the importance of reading for pleasure with kids and encourage adults to foster a love of reading in their children. 

For too many children, reading is simply not a part of their daily lives. Nearly a third of students in the United States say they never or rarely read for fun. The older a child gets, the less likely they are to read every day. Through Raising Readers, we help families appreciate the benefits of reading together.
